ACEP bridges
PCCT to Asian neighbors
The Asian Canadian Entrepreneurs and
Professionals (ACEP) is bridging the Philippine Chamber
of Commerce- Toronto (PCCT) with its Asian neighbors
aimed at opening the latter’s members to an
expanded market for their products and services to
include consumers in its Asian neighbors.
This opportunity has been opened by
ACEP to the members of the Filipino premier business
organization in its invitation addressed to PCCT President
Cora de la Cruz to participate in the “2005
Taste of Asia Festival” slated on June 25 and
26 this year.
ACEP President Rafael Nebres said that
PCCT has accepted the invitation to the two-day festival
to be held on Kennedy Road, between Steeles and Clayton
on the Western side of Market Village in Markham,
Ontario.
Now in its third year, the festival
features booths of merchants selling various goods
and services at discounted prices. The festival likewise
features all-day entertainment reflecting the cultural
diversity of Canada, among others, from the Japanese,
Filipino and Chinese communities.
Mr. Nebres said that the “2005
Taste of Asia Festival” will be the second time
that ACEP is working with the PCCT on a project. Last
March 30, ACEP joined the PCCT at its business forum
held at the Bayview Country Club in Thornhill, Ontario.
A conduit of the Federation of Chinese
Canadians in Markham (FCCM) to all other Asian communities,
ACEP is an organization of professionals and business
people aimed at contributing to the overall prosperity
of Canada, through the promotion of business and professional
interests of Asian Canadians.
