KEEP HOPE ALIVE T.O. PRAYER VIGIL
CRIME PREVENTION THROUGH COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION
Saturday, April 3, 2004

KEEP HOPE ALIVE T.O. is a Candle Light Vigil that will be held on SATURDAY, APRIL 3, 2004 7:00PM at YONGE-DUNDAS SQUARE. This event will be spearheaded by Kamp Hope, Carnforth Faith Christian Centre and their partners in faith to keep Toronto and the rest of Ontario free from crime - including hate crime, poverty, homelessness and the degradation of boys, girls, men and women of our society.

KEEP HOPE ALIVE T.O. is an event to support and encourage Crime Prevention through Community Participation and will be one of the biggest anti-violence movements attempted by the mosaic community since the increase of gun violence and hate crime in our city.

We are expecting over 5,000 supporters to attend this historical event. Special guests include: Dr. Rev. Basil Miller Chair Carnforth Faith Christian Centre, Councillor Raymond Cho Ward 42, Inspector Bill Blair Toronto Police, Ms. Christine Pitters mother of Patrick Dalton Pittters, Racquel Leslie Canadian Armed Force, Kamil Saddiq Vice Chairman Canadian Federation of Intercultural Friendship, and Rev. Yvette Shank President Church of Scientology Toronto. Also attending will be members and representative from the Horizon Interfaith Council, Church of God Ministries, S.D.A. Ministers, Pentecostal Ministries and residents from the GTA community.

We are encouraging CFMX FM (CLASSIC FM) – 96.3/103.1FM to take this opportunity to join with us in this venture. We would specifically like for you to invite your listeners from across the GTA to come support KEEP HOPE ALIVE T.O. Your contribution will help to unite Torontonians against violence. We can put an end to violence it is up to us all.
