The Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham New Year Eve Dinner and Dance Party was held on December 31, 2004 at Regal Palace Restaurant.

The party began at 8:00 pm. More than 300 guests adorably dressed waited excitedly for the New Year. It was a joyful evening. With Stephen Lee as the host, Dr. Vansen Lee and his band provided music throughout the whole night. Guests sang, danced and enjoyed the night freely.

Besides the gourmet, there were Bingo game and lucky draw. Regal Palace Restaurant generously donated dinner coupon, and Jacco Tours donated air ticket and many other prizes.

Dr. Ken Ng, the chairman of FCCM, gave thanks to all the guests, volunteers and staff for the time and effort they devoted in the past year. A lot of guests attended that evening, included: Mobeen Khaja (President of APMO), Zul Kassamali (V.P. of AMPO), Mark Persaud (National Chair, Standing Committee on Multiculturalism, Canadian Liberal Party), Rafael Nebres (President of ACEP), Ed Joaquin (Special Assistant to Lui Temelkovski, MP Oakridges-Markham), Dr. Lap Cheung Lee (Chairman of Community Advisory Committee of FCCM and Past President of Chinese Canadian Medical Society), Dr. B.
