Briefing on 2004 Federal Budget

Markham, March 28 - Hon. John McCallum, Minister of Veterans affairs and Member of Parliament for Markham will be hosting a news conference to discuss the newly introduced federal budget. He is currently a member of the Expenditure Review Committee, serving as Vice Chair. Prior to his current portfolio, he served as Minister of National Defense, after previously holding the post of Secretary of State for International Financial Institutions. Prior to entering politics in 2000, he was the Senior Chief Economist at the
Royal Bank. In addition to talking about the general issues related to the budget, the Minister will also discuss its impact on Markham.

A light lunch will be served at 11:15am, prior to the press conference. (Free Admission)
