A Portion of proceeds supporting Markham Stouffville Hospitial

The "Hiking Trails of Ontario" art exhibition presented by Judith Livingston was held at the Kathleen Gormley Mckay Art Centre on October 14-26, 2004. The website of Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham: www.culture-canada.ca , Markham Chinese Cultural Centre and Dr. Ken H. Ng were the proud exhibition sponsors of this event. A portion of the proceeds goes to support the Markham Stouffville Hospitial Foundation.

The Government of Canada and The Achievement and Civic Recognition Award by The Corporation of The Town of Markham have honored the artist, Judith Livingston, in addition to numerous art awards, with the Canada 125 Medal. Judith is a Member of The Markham Group of Artists, The East Central Ontario Art Association, The Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour and a Life Member of The Frederick Horsman Varley Art Gallery of Markham. Her paintings have been exhibited across Canada, the United States and Mexico.
The work of Judith presents her unique perspective of our parks. Her subjects are found in National, Provincial, Regional, and Municipal Parklands throughout Ontario. Included in her exhibitions are paintings of woodlands, wetlands, waterscapes and rocks capes, from the Carolinian Forests of Southwestern Ontario to north of Superior, from the Bruce Peninsula to the Ottawa Valley.
