Entrepreneurs & Professionals held the ACEP Membership Acquaintance
Party and Induction of Officers and Directors on September 17,
2004 at Century Palace Restaurant.
The dinner party began at 7:30 pm. The guests who attended the
party included : Dr. Ken Ng (Chairman of FCCM), Honorable Jim
Karygiannis (M.P.of Scarborough-Againtcourt), Mr. Ren Zhi Xing
(Director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Zhejiang
Provincial People’s Government), Mr.Zhang Jian (Deputy
Director of International Cooperation Division Dept. of Science
& Technology, Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government),
Mr. Jiang Minda (Division Chief of Economic & Science-Technology
Dept. of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Zhejiang Provincial
People’s Government), Mr. Zhou Shun Lai (Vice Director
of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Wenzhou Municipal
People’s Government) Mr. Xie Tong (Deputy Chief of Liaison
Dept. of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Zhejiang Provincial
People’s Government), Mr. Rayment Tsang (Vice-Chair of
FCCM and President of Markham Chinese Culture Centre), Consul

Mr. Jess Carlos was the M.C. of the dinner party. Party started
with Dr. Ken Ng’s Opening Remarks and Mr. Jess Antonio’s
invocation. All the guests enjoyed the meal. After a few courses,
Ms. Susan Yao introduced the guest speaker: Honorable Jim Karygiannis
MP. Mr. Karygiannis is the Liberal MP for Scarborough-Agincourt.
He was re-appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister
of Transport on July 20, 2004 and he was re-elected to the House
of Commons for a fifth consecutive term. In the House of Commons,
Mr. Karygiannis has devoted himself to issue related to small
business, immigration and multicultural matters. That night
he encouraged all members to bring more young people to ACEP
and wish the number of attendance will grow for the next time.
The speech was followed by the induction of officers and directors.
